Pentecostal Inspiration

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. - Acts 20:35

As we enter into the day where we celebrate the birth of our Savior, I have been inspired to write a few words. In this season, many people forget about the true meaning of Christmas and get caught up in what they want and plan to receive. As saints of God we must realize the importance of The Christmas holiday and why we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. The realization that God would wrap himself in flesh to be a perfect example of sacrifice shows us the model of love we as saints need to show the world. The scripture tells us the importance of supporting the weak. As children of God during this season we ought to assist those who need the help of others more than we would at any other time. If we look at Christ, His whole mission was to help the lost and those who could not help themselves. As we embrace the day in which Christ was born, we must remember  the last portion of this scripture "...it is more blessed to give than to receive," and focus on the true meaning of the day. God Bless!!!
